Solar Power Plant “Tabanović”

The solar power plant “Tabanović” is designed as a modern photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 3 MW AC, installed on land near Šabac. A total of 5,606 photovoltaic panels with a capacity of 580 Wp each were installed, producing clean and renewable energy for the local community. The plant is connected to the grid through a transformer station TS 20/0.8 kV with a capacity of 2×1600 kVA.

In addition to the solar power plant itself, the project included the construction of a connection point facility (OMP), laying of 20 kV cable lines with a total length of 1,977 meters, and the installation of a medium-voltage switchgear using SF6 technology.

  • Panel Capacity: 3.25 MWp (5,606 photovoltaic modules).

  • Inverter Power: 2.88 MW (9 inverters SG350HX).

  • Transformer Station (TS 20/0.8 kV): Capacity of 2×1600 kVA.

  • Medium-Voltage Switchgear (20 kV): Prefabricated, using SF6 technology, with a capacity of 24 kV, 630 A, 16 kA/1s.

  • Cable Distribution: 20 kV underground and overhead cables with a total length of 1,977 meters.

  • Control System: Advanced remote monitoring and control system with SCADA support, including communication with inverters via Modbus and Sunspec protocols, as well as support for IEC 61850 and 60870-5-101/104 protocols for integration with supervisory systems. The controller enables energy production forecasting based on weather forecasts and provides secure remote access via Telegram and OpenVPN.
