Reconstruction of 10 / 0.4 kV substation at the Vorwerk Autotec Serbia d.o.o. business and production complex, Čačak branch

Vorwerk Autotec Serbia d.o.o. are one of the leading manufacturers of motor vehicle systems.

Vorwerk Drivetec manufactures high quality system assemblies and components for passenger motor vehicles and special purpose vehicles.

The factory in Čačak was built according to the highest international standards. Highly modern 40,000 square meters production area uses production processes that are oriented towards future technologies such as computer-controlled machines.

During the reconstruction of the substation, the following was performed:

  • A new three-phase dry power transformer intended for indoor installation was installed, rated voltage: 10 ± 2×2.5% kV / 0.42 kV, power 1×2500 kVA, which was produced according to IEC 60076

  • New LV block formed by three interconnected distribution cabinets.
  • Installation of two reactive energy compensation plants
  • Reconnection of existing power cables from the switchgear of the existing medium voltage plant to the new switchgear.

  • Installation of cable interconnections between protective output switches of the plant compensation and corresponding load disconnectors of the associated reactive energy compensation plants.

  • Installation of cable interconnections for signal and command interconnections between newly installed low-voltage, medium-voltage and compensation plants.

  • Grounding and lightning protection of the substation.

  • Power transformer protection.
  • Protection of 0.4 kV line and rail distribution.
  • Fire protection.
