Kostolac Thermal Power Plants

The Kostolac Thermal Power Plants (TE “Kostolac” or TE-KO) represent a significant energy resource for Serbia, with a total installed capacity of 1,007 MW. This lignite-based energy complex produces up to 6,256,576 MWh of electricity annually, accounting for about 14% of the total production of Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS). In addition to the thermal power plants, the company Thermal Power Plants and Mines “Kostolac” LLC includes the open-pit mines “Ćirikovac” and “Drmno.” The production capacities are distributed within the thermal power plants “Kostolac A” and “Kostolac B.” The complex is situated near the city of Kostolac and the famous archaeological site Viminacium, further highlighting its strategic and cultural value for the region.

  • Design and Delivery of Containerized Mobile Transformer Stations on Skids:

    • 6/0.4 kV, 250 kVA – 5 units
    • 6/0.4 kV, 400 kVA – 2 units
    • 6/0.4 kV, 630 kVA – 1 unit
  • Design and Delivery of Sheet Metal Transformer Stations LTS 6/0.4 kV, 250 kVA (9 units).

  • Reconstruction of Transformer Station 10/0.4 kV, 1×630 kVA (TS Directorate TE-KO Kostolac):

    • Execution of electrical installation works on the reconstruction of the existing transformer station.
  • Design and delivery of switchgear type SM6 Schneider Electric:

    • Equipment housed in a container enclosure on skids.
  • Reconstruction of 0.4 kV Switchgear Panels in TE-KO Kostolac Thermal Power Plant:

    • Delivery and installation of five low-voltage switchgear panels type OKKEN Schneider Electric.
  • Pump Station of the Ćirikovac Ash Dump:

    • Design, delivery, and installation of LV cabinets.
    • Supply and installation of power cables for connecting consumers within the pump station.
  • Electrical Works on the SNCR Pump Station (TE-KO Kostolac B):

    • Workshop fabrication, delivery, and installation of electrical containers for secondary measurements.
    • Workshop fabrication and installation of distribution cabinets (8 units).
    • Execution of electrical power installations and heating cable installations.
  • Ash and Slag Dump of Open-Pit Mine Ćirikovac for TEKO A and TEKO B:

    • Supply of equipment and execution of electrical installations for transformer station 6/0.4 kV, 2×630 kVA.
      • Installation of medium-voltage equipment with parameterization of microprocessor protections.
      • Installation of transformers.
      • Installation of enclosed busbar trunking systems.
    • Workshop fabrication and installation of low-voltage distribution switchgear with frequency converters (2×160 kW, 1×110 kW).
    • Workshop fabrication and installation of PLC cabinets.
    • Workshop fabrication and installation of SCADA server cabinets.
    • Development of application software for SCADA system, PLC controller, and operator panel.
    • Commissioning of the system and execution of instrumentation installations.
    • Execution of electrical installations for:
      • Floating pump station, including fabrication and installation of control-distribution cabinets, programming, and commissioning.
      • Overflow shaft, including fabrication and installation of control-distribution cabinets, programming, and commissioning.
      • Main water collector, including fabrication and installation of control-distribution cabinets, programming, and commissioning.
    • Execution of instrumentation installations.
  • Design and delivery of sheet metal transformer station on skids 6/0.4 kV, 1×630 kVA (TE-KO Kostolac).

  • Electrical Assembly Works for Modification of the Ash Disposal System (TE-KO A Kostolac):

    • Installation of transformer 6/0.4 kV, 2000 kVA.
    • Installation of medium-voltage switchgear units type MC Set and enclosed busbar trunking system 3200 A.
    • Installation of low-voltage equipment type OKKEN.
    • Wiring, assembly, and connection of three control cabinets.
  • Design, delivery, and installation of a mobile transformer station 6/0.4 kV, 1×630 kVA (TEKO Kostolac).

  • Well Line XVI (TEKO Kostolac):

    • Design and delivery of distribution cabinets with frequency converters (61 units).
    • Construction of four mobile sheet metal transformer stations 6/0.4 kV, 250 kVA.
  • Well Line XV (TEKO Kostolac):

    • Construction of four mobile sheet metal transformer stations and supply of equipment.
  • Well Line (TEKO Kostolac):

    • Construction of two mobile sheet metal transformer stations and supply of equipment.
  • Cable Laying on Line 14 (TEKO Kostolac):

    • Supply of equipment and execution of cable installation works.
  • Field XIII (TEKO Kostolac):

    • Design and delivery of distribution cabinets with frequency converters (97 units).
    • Construction of shielded mobile transformer stations with RM6 equipment.
  • Drainage System of the Drmno Open-Pit Mine:

    • Automation cabinets for wells at the Drmno open-pit mine.
  • Distribution Equipment and Transformer Stations (TEKO Kostolac):

    • Design and delivery of distribution cabinets with frequency converters.
    • Construction of shielded mobile transformer stations with RM6 equipment.
