🔧 Project Overview
As part of the chocolate production plant expansion for Barry Callebaut in Novi Sad, Building A1 was constructed to house storage tanks for finished products. The new section has a gross area of 309.38 m² and is built as a single-level facility.
Urban and Construction Basis
The design was developed in full compliance with the City of Novi Sad’s planning documentation, including the urban plan by JP “Urbanizam”.
⚡ Electrical Installations (Low Voltage Systems)
Scope of Work:
Power supplied from a 20/0.4kV transformer station (4×2500 kVA) – using reserve from Phase 1
LED lighting systems (interior, exterior, and emergency) with IP protection and 1–3h autonomy
Lightning protection system with foundation grounding (FeZn strip 25×4 mm)
TN-S protection system with automatic power disconnection
📡 Telecommunications and Signal Systems (ELV)
Installed Systems:
Structured Cabling System (SCS) for voice and data integration
IP Video Surveillance (internal and external) with remote access
Access Control (ACC): card readers and security locks for two doors
Fire Detection and Alarm System: addressable detectors (optical, thermal, manual, linear), alarm sirens, HVAC shutdown, elevator recall, and door release functions
Smoke and Heat Exhaust System (SHEVS): electric-powered roof domes managed via control panel integrated with FACP
